CAA: TOP THREE WAYS FOR LANDLORDS TO OBTAIN RENTAL FORMS IN CALIFORNIA
Updated: Apr 10
It’s important for California landlords to use the most up-to-date and accurate rental forms available. The California Apartment Association has you covered with three ways to obtain forms.
Each of the following options provide rental owners with a comprehensive library of California-specific forms for rental housing industry professionals.
Padded forms: This is the old-school option. Visit this page on the CAA website, pick the forms you’d like to buy, and order away.
Download them and print: As part of your CAA membership, you have access to more than 200 forms. Once you find the forms you need on the CAA website, download the documents, print them out and take care of business.
Digital: The third and most modern option is all digital. No paper and no printer needed. Sign up for CAA’s Online Fill-out Forms and do all the “paperwork” at your computer, on your phone or on your tablet.
The Fill-out Forms service allows landlords to send lease agreements to prospective residents by email and receive their signature using DocuSign. Additionally, the service saves you time with auto-populate fields and auto-math functions. Being able to access your document library anytime from anywhere is incredibly convenient. The Online Fill-Out Forms service also reduces operating costs by eliminating unnecessary printing and paper.
Property management platform: If you are using a forms tool at your company already (i.e. Yardi), CAA’s Fill-out Forms can be integrated into your platform. Just contact our office at (800) 967-4222 for more information.
